Most people spend a lot of time dreaming about the future, never realizing that a little of it arrives each day. – Anon
The people were looking for a Messiah, and all the time Jesus was right there revealing Himself to them. Hmm!
As we grow we rarely think of age, we live life moreso by events (graduation, work, first-car, first apartment, etc.). And for anyone over 40, back when they were 15 – 18 years old, they rarely thought they’d reach it. Not that they didn’t think they wouldn’t be alive, just not 40+ years old. But the reality is that if we keep getting up day after day eventually there’s the 20’s, the 30’s, the 40’s and on and on. But that’s the way the future happens – one day at a time – and the things we do today will have tremendous impact on what we will be doing tomorrow and years later. So the question that bears asking is: ‘Is what I’m doing now going to lead to what I want to do later in life?’ If not, remember God allows U-turns and path corrections.
Until tomorrow…..
