The average person really doesn’t know what they want, they just believe they don’t have it yet. – Anon
Pilate earnestly asked “what is truth,” when it (Jesus) was standing right in front of him. WOW!
If we’re not careful it’s something we’re all guilty of at times – coveting. Looking over at what others have and longing for it ourselves. Too often we measure ourselves by what is going on in other peoples lives, what they possess, what they’ve done or are doing at this stage of their lives, and wonder about ourselves – why not me. The truth of the matter is God has placed everything we need in our lives at this present moment to be content – we just need to sort out what it is and use it properly, and it will bring contentment. When we continually look for fulfillment in things, we will miss the beauty and glory of what God has already placed in our care.
Until tomorrow……
