What is worse than doing evil is being evil. – D. Bonhoeffer
Rehoboam was not only conniving, he was just downright evil. AMEN!
Honestly speaking, we all make mistakes. We also all sin against God and others. But when we do this without regard for other people’s welfare, or concern over what we have done is right, it indicates we have a heart leaning towards evil. One does not become evil overnight, it is by many small acts of wrongdoing that go unchecked, sins that go ‘unrepented’ over. But quickly desiring to make things right and taking appropriate action with an attitude of humility is the way of God and righteousness, allowing us to grow in our faith. The thing we need to remember most is God sees all and looks on the heart.
Until Monday…..
