When Jesus came to his house, Zacchaeus wasted no time in repenting and restoring those he had possibly defrauded. He was well rewarded!
Today truly is the first day of the rest of your life. And it is equally true we do not know how long our life will be. Though killing time is not murder, it is committing suicide, and though many people would never think of taking their own life, that’s exactly what they are doing. If you’ve not enjoyed life thus far it can only be because you do not know or truly serve God. He has purposed us for “good works” which he prepared in advance to bring us joy. All the promises we have made to him to one day get to his business are soon coming due. He’s given us TODAY to begin making preparations.
