“OOPS! I didn’t mean to say that!” It’s a phrase we’re all too familiar with, after spewing out venomous or hardhearted words we never thought WE would say. Then we wonder where it came from. It’s no secret, it came from within. We can only give out what we take in, and in the heat of the battle or the frustrations of the day when we are tested; what is truly in the heart will come forth. If our conversation is to be honorable before God and to God, then we should very well acquaint ourselves with His Word which can ‘transform and renew’ our minds and way of thinking. I guess the question we should ask is: How would I want someone to speak to me? And then let God train us to speak that way.
