The bible tells us that even Jesus, Savior of the world; was rejected by his own people. He went ahead and died for them too. AMEN!
Frustration! We all know it and feel it at times. We often think, “life would be so much easier if everyone would just listen to me, go along with what I say.” There are two problems with our thinking this way. First, we know within our own heart we’ve not always been absolutely right or perfect. Second, everybody else wants the whole world to go along with their way of thinking as well. The key here is not to get people to be “for us” or “against themselves,” but for US to stand for God’s righteousness and truth, and live our lives accordingly. We were not made to win a popularity contest but to bring glory to God. Knowing our purpose makes life a lot easier.
