After his resurrection, Jesus allowed Thomas to touch and feel him. He told him “blessed are those who have not seen but yet believe.” Amen!
We live in a world and society that believes in tangible results. I must see it, taste it, feel it, smell it, or handle it before I can believe it. But God expects us to trust in Him fully though we may not see exactly what lies ahead. What He has shown us in the past and how He has blessed us in the past should anchor our faith to trust Him in the future. Though situations that arise may not be favorable or pleasant, we should never doubt in these dark times what God has told and promised us in the light. Today will unfold just as God planned it long ago, and it may not quite be what we were expecting; but He will be working out all things in our life to His glory. Ours is just to go with God’s program and know it will work out, all the pieces will fit together at the proper time.
